This Tutorial is written in
Psp 9 but can also be made in Psp 7 & 8.
What
do we need for this tutorial.

Pattern
*Open a new image 500 x 500 image.
*Search a dark colour from your tube.
*Activate
your brush tool and search for kk-xmas-01-04 with these settings:
*Place your brush on the image it
should be looked something like this now:
*Copy your tube and paste it as a new layer on your 500 x 500 image.
*Image/Resize with 75% Resize All Layers unchecked.
*Move your tube to the left and down.
*Duplicate this layer in your layer pallete.
*Turn of the visibility of the copy layer and make sure the original
layer is the active one.
*Effects/3d
effects/Texture effects/Mosaic Antique with these settings:
*Activate the copy of your tube
layer and unlock it.
*Effects/3d effects/Dropshadow with these settings:
*Layers/Merge/Merge visible.
*Edit/Copy.
*Edit/Paste/Paste as new image.
*Layers/New Raster Layer.
*Pull this layer under your merged layer in your layer pallete.
*Choose a dark and a light colour from your tube.
*Put in the background the gradient with these settings::
*Fill this layer wiht your
gradient.
*Make sure the top layer is the active layer.
*Layers/New Raster Layer.
*Put in the background your gold pattern and lock your foreground.
*Type the text Merry Christmas with these settings:
*Image/Rotate/Free Rotate with
these settings:
*Adjust/Sharpen/Sharpen.
*Effects/3d effects/Dropshadow with these settings:
*Selections/Select None.
*Move the text to the right place.
*Layers/New Raster Layer.
*Type your name with the same settings as before.
*Move your text to the right place.
*Effects/3d effects/Dropshadow with the same settings as before.
*Image/Add borders 10 px white.
*Select the border with your magic wand and fill it with your foreground.
*Effects/3d effects/Inner Bevel with these settings:
*Selections/Select None.
*Image/Resize and make the longest side 400 px long.
Make sure that Resize all layers is checked.
*Save your work as .jpg and your nametag is ready.
