What do we need for this Tutorial.
Only a nice tube.
The tube i made myself in the program Poser.
Open a new image 700 x 700.
This looks much but everything we don't use we will remove later.
Layers/New Raster Layer.
Open your tube and copy.
Paste as new layer on your 700 x 700 image.
Duplicate this layer.
Activate your orginele tube layer and go to Image/Resize with these
settings.
Effects/Sharpen/Sharpen.
Effects/Geometric effects/Twirl with these settings:
Duplicate this layer.
Image/Mirror.
Go to your layer pallete and lock the copy of your tube.
Layers/Merge/Merge visible.
Activate the copy of your tube again.
Effects/de effects/Dropshadow with these settings:
Layers/New Raster Layer.
This is your text layer.
Put your foreground to black and lock the background.
Select Preset Shape tool and choose Ellipse with these settings:
Draw a circle around your tube
Your image must look something like this:
Choose 2 colors from your tube and select the texttool
Go with your texttool over the circle when you see a half circle you
click.
Select a nice font and typ your text.
Effects/3d-effects/Inner bevel with these settings.
Effects/3d effects/Dropshadow with the same settings as before.
Selections/Select None.
Choose Yes when you see the warning.
Remove the Vector Layer in your Layer Pallete.
Layers/Merge/Merge Visible.
Edit/Cope/Past as new image.
Resize your image the longest side to 400 px.
All layers checked.
Effects/Sharpen/Sharpen.
