Before we start with this tutorial we need the following items:

A nice tube.
Plugin DSB Flux.
And a lot of patience lolll

  Open a transparent 700 x 700 pixels
Pick a nice tube and past this in the centre of the transparent
Layers – duplicate.
Highlight the original layer and rename this background.

  Image – resize; following settings:



Effects – Plugins DSB Flux / Center Mirror; following settings:



Effects – 3D Effects – Inner bevel; following settings:



In your layer palette change the opacity to 80.

  Highlight the duplicate layer of your tube. Rename this layer in tube.
Effects – 3D effects – Inner Bevel; same settings as in before

  Effects – 3D effects – Drop shadow; following settings:



Your image should look like this:



Highlight your tube layer.
Layers – new layer
Now we will type text
Pick two colours and use your text tool.
Pick a nice font and size.
Type your text
Effects – 3D Effects – Inner Bevel; same settings as before

  Selections – select none.
Hide your background layer – merge all visible layers.
Rename the merged layer into TUBE.

  Now we have to duplicate the layers in order to make an animation.
You have to be very accurate and keep the good sequence otherwise you won’t succeed.

  Highlight your background layer and duplicate this layer.
Rename this layer background layer 2.
Image – rotate; following settings:




Duplicate background layer 2 and rename this background layer 3.
Image – rotate; same settings as before.
Repeat these steps till you have background layer 6.
Your layer palette should look like this:



Now highlight your tube layer, duplicate and rename this layer TUBE 2
Highlight layer tube 2, duplicate and rename this layer TUBE 3
Repeat these steps until you have TUBE 6
Your layer palette should look like this:



Now highlight the layer background, hide all layers except this one and the layer TUBE.
Merge all visible layers
Rename this layer – LAYER 1
Hide all layers except background 2 and tube 2.
Highlight the background2 layer – merge all visible layers.
Rename this layer – LAYER 2
Repeat these steps until all layers are merged and your layer palette looks like this:
Remember the sequence is very important!!!!




Now unlock all your layers.
File – save – save as and save as a psp file

  Open Animation shop and open the wizard.
Choose as follows:
Same size as the first image frame.
Next: Transparent
Next: Centred in frame – with the canvas colour – scale frames to fit
Next: Yes, repeat animation indefinitely

Next: Add image and find your psp image you’ve just saved.
Next: finish.

  Now you can see how your animation works.
Perhaps you want to adjust something, but I’m satisfied with 10 sec.
Go to: Animation – resize animation – pick following settings:

This way the colours stay nice and there’s no need to sharpen.
Your animation is ready now.
Save it and your animated tag is ready.
