African Beauty



This Tutorial is written in Psp 9 but can also be made in Psp 8 & 7.

  What do we need for this tutorial.

  Tube ©by Moonlightdesign i've made this tube myself in the program Poser 5.
Plugin KPT 5.0
Mask
Gold Pattern.
Font naar keuze.

  *Open your tube and choose 2 colours from your tube.
Choose a light colour for your foreground and a dark colour for your background.

  *Open a new image 600 x 600 transparent.

  *Fill the image with your foreground colour

  *Copy your tube and paste it as a new layer on your 600 x 600 image.

  *Layers/Merge/Merge Visible.

  *Effects/Plugins/KPT 5.0/KPT 5.0 Blurrr go to Spiral Blur and put
Blur Radius at 130 px and Spiral Rotation Angle at 101.
Push the V in the right corner of your screen.

  *Layers/New Raster Layer and pull this layer below your merged layer.
Fill this layer with your background colour.

  *Layers/Merge/Merge All.

  *Layers/New Raster Layer.

  *Fill this layer with your foreground layer.

  *Mask Load~Save/Load Mask from disk with these settings:

  *Layers/Delete.
Layers/Merge/Merge visible..

  *Go to your paint brush soften
With these settings:

  Soften the edges of the clock.
Turn back the opacity of this layer to 60.

  *Layers/Merge/Merge All.

  *Copy your tube and paste it as a new layer on your 600 x 600 image.

  *Put your tube to the left in the corner..

  *Effects/3d effects/Dropshadow with these settings:

  *Layers/Merge/Merge All.

  *Image/Add Borders 5 px white.
Select the border with your magic wand and fill it with your dark colour.
Selections/Select None.

  *Image/Add Borders with these settings:



Colour white.

*Promote your background layer to a rasterlayer.
This is very importent because i've you forget this step your image is not 
transparent.

  *Select the border with your magic wand.
Selections/Modify/Contract with 5 px and push the delete button.
Selections/Select None.
Select the white border with your magic wand and fill the border with your dark colour.

  *Select the tranparant space with your magic wand and fill it with your foreground colour.

  *Selections/Select None.

  *Layers/New Raster Layer..

  *Put your foreground colour to the dark colour and your background to the pattern in the zip.
Angle 0, Schale 100.Z

  *Type your text with these settings:


  *Move your text to the right place..

  *Effects/3d effects/Inner Bevel with these settings:

  *Effects/3d effects/Dropshadow with the same settings as before.

  *Selections/Select None..

  *Layers/Merge/Merge Visible.

  *Image/Resize longest side 400 px.
All Layers checked method Bikubisch.

*Save your work as .jpg and your nametag is ready.
